About

I’m not much of a sweet tooth, but when it comes to Filipino desserts there is always room for more. Spending the first nine years of my life in the Philippines and having an abundant of cousins on my dad’s side, sometimes I’m not even sure how they are related to me but they live on the block where my lola (grandmother) lives, I was constantly attending birthday parties. Beside the traditional Filipino foods, it was always the colourful desserts that were memorable and mouth watering.

I like to think that I’m well verse in the Filipino desserts area because my mum and two aunties makes them on special occasions. I buy them as often as I can and when I go to the Philippines my luggage would be fill of desserts. I follow a blogs who’s main topics are Filipino desserts, hence why I want to my own blog because I like to share my experience and love for this secret gem that a lot of people hasn’t discovered.

What it means to be….

I got a big Filipino family. That’s what I love about being Pinoy; we all gotta surround ourselves with family; we all gotta laugh and do things together. I love it. It’s family first.

There is no better way to bring people together than with desserts.

Filipino food has to be hyped up and presented nicely. I may not be as well-versed in Filipino food, but I am its biggest advocate.
